Frequently Asked Questions

Before Your Tour

  • Chevron down I have food restrictions. Can I still go on the tour?
  • YES!  We try very hard to accommodate the various dietary restrictions of our guests.  Please let us know when you book your tour if you or anyone else in your party has specific food restrictions or allergies.  As long as we know in advance, we’ll make special arrangements with our restaurants to meet your needs.  We can easily accommodate vegetarian diets at each of our tasting stops. We can also accommodate guests who will be eating gluten-free on the tour, with a $15 surcharge to cover the special items. We have also been known to accommodate lactose intolerant diets but we are unable at this time to accommodate vegan diets.  Thank you for your understanding.

  • Chevron down Your tour shows sold out online, can we still go?
  • Our tour maximum is 7 guests (6 on the Movie Locations Tour).  Popular dates and times of year do sell-out in advance.  When a tour date shows sold out online, we’re out of seats.  However, you are welcome to call and get on a waiting list in the case of a cancellation, which is rare.

  • Chevron down Can I buy tickets on the day of the tour?
  • Tickets must be purchased in advance on this site to ensure you have a reservation for the tour and we can make the necessary food orders.  We take Visa, Mastercard, or American Express.  If there are still seats available, our site does take same day reservations until 9:00am for the 10:00am start time.  Just be sure you are able to get into Hollywood for the 10:00am start time.

  • Chevron down Are private tours available?
  • Yes, all three of our tours are available for private parties just for you and your group.  Please contact us for pricing.  We are also happy to customize a tour for you based on the time you have available and your interests.  We offer private city tours for 4, 6 or 8 hours in length.  Please let us know the date of your visit, what you are interested in seeing, the size of your group and any other special requests you have.

  • Chevron down Is there a lot of walking?
  • On the Hollywood Sites & Bites Tour there is a solid hour of walking with brief stops for stories and photo opportunities.  There are also some stairs and escalators to navigate, with elevators for those who need them.  The walk will be at a normal walking pace.  If you can walk around a shopping mall, you’ll be fine.  For the remaining 3 hours of the tour, you’ll be driven to the various tasting stops and the walking involves going from the van into the restaurant and back out to the van.  For our Movie Locations Tour there is NO walking involved, it is a dedicated driving tour with opportunities to exit the van for photo opportunities.  The Chocolate Indulgence Tour is also a driving tour and the walking portion includes walking to and from the various tasting stops.

  • Chevron down How long is the tour?
  • Our tours vary in length, see below.  While we do our best to start and end on time, tours may be slightly longer or shorter depending on traffic.  If you are planning another activity immediately after one of our tours, please let us know so that we can do our best to get you there on time.  Please notify your tour guide of any time restrictions.
Hollywood Sites & Bites Tour 4 hours
    Chocolate Indulgence Tour 3 hours
    Movie Locations Tour 2.5 hours

Day of Tour

  • Chevron down What should I wear and/or bring on the tour?
  • You should wear comfortable shoes.  Don’t forget your sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat if you desire.  It gets warm in Hollywood!  A bottle of water will be provided for each guest.

  • Chevron down Where do you drop us off?
  • We’ll drop you back where we pick you up.

  • Chevron down Where do we meet?
  • We’ll send you an email with all the details when you book your tour with specific meeting locations.

  • Chevron down Where do I park?
  • There are many public parking lots near the starting point of the tour, as that’s where we’ll finish the tour.  Upon signing up for the tour, you will receive an email with suggestions of several parking options in the area.  The prices can and do change, but you can expect to pay $15-$20 for a full day of parking in Hollywood.

  • Chevron down What if it rains?
  • We’ll be in the van most of the time, so we tour the city rain or shine!
