I’ve been writing a lot about sweets, so wanted to give you something savory to think about. One of our tour guests recently referred us to Bao Dim Sum near the Farmer’s Market so we headed there one evening after tour to check it out. We liked it so much that we’ve been there twice now!
Right away we ordered the sizzling soup and between the look and the sound of the sizzling rice, it was a hit. From dumplings to a scallion pancake to calamari sticks, we were happy with everything. On the first visit we enjoyed jasmine tea, but on our second go-round we enjoyed a few cocktails including a fabulous lychee martini and sake.
