Street Food

I first heard of Susan Feniger because of her tex-mex place Border Grill. Oh how I love her salsas and empanadas! I found her new restaurant STREET in the Westways magazine, and was a perfect fit for our Hollywood tour. Her cuisine entertains diners with food from around the world that you might enjoy from a push cart or street vendor, served in a shareable style. Where else can you try flavors from India, Singapore, Thailand and New Orleans under the same roof? At STREET of course.

Tucked into a bright orange façade near the corner of Highland and Melrose, we dine at STREET on Friday and Saturday tours. If Chef Susan or Chef Kasja happen to be in the house during a tour, they never fail to stop by and chat. It makes our visit even more special. Susan’s new cookbook hits bookstores July 17. If you would like a chance to win a signed copy of STREET FOOD, share my blog, easy as that. You can also be entered to win if you comment and let me know your favorite “street food” from STREET or your own travels.
