The Hollywood Museum

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? The Hollywood Museum, located in the historic Max Factor Building is a must-see when visiting Hollywood, offering four floors of exciting movie memorabilia from props to photos to costumes. On the ground floor is Mr. Factor’s world famous make-up rooms where Lucille Ball became a redhead and Marilyn Monroe a blonde.

Speaking of the blonde bombshell, through September 22, you can view Marilyn the Exhibit, which is an Intimate look at the Legend through a special exhibit of memorabilia, generously on loan from private collectors. I spent four hours perusing the Marilyn exhibit alone, and took a few extra minutes to enjoy the other blonde bombshell’s exhibit: Jean Harlow! And a very important note, should you get hungry, Mel’s Drive-In is just next door!
